The Rural Municipality of Reynolds contracts Prairie By-Law Enforcement (PBLE) to maintain the safety, harmony, and standards of our community. PBLE is responsible for enforcing all current and active municipal by-laws.

Prairie By-Law Enforcement is an administrative function and does not provide 24-hour emergency services. If you are facing an immediate life or safety emergency, please call 911.

Reporting a Concern

To ensure all by-law infractions are addressed efficiently, residents are encouraged to contact the Municipal Office during regular business hours as the first point of contact.

How Enforcement Works

In order to help residents understand the services provided, please keep the following information in mind:

  • Response Times: By-Law Officers do not work 24 hours a day. Requests are reviewed by the Municipal Office and forwarded to PBLE to be addressed based on scheduled patrols and the level of urgency.

  • After-Hours Concerns: For non-emergency issues arising outside of business hours, residents may contact PBLE directly at 204-809-3231. A representative will typically follow up within 24 hours.

  • Privacy: Due to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), the RM and PBLE may be limited in the amount of information they can share regarding active investigations or specific third-party details.
