Recycling in Reynolds
Building a sustainable community starts with proper waste management. The RM of Reynolds provides several convenient local recycling sheds to help residents divert waste from landfills. By ensuring your items are clean and sorted, you help keep our local programs running efficiently.
Local Recycling Sheds
Residents can drop off household recyclables at any of the following locations. Please ensure that all containers are rinsed and cardboard is flattened to maximize space in the sheds.

Accepted Recyclables
To maintain the quality of our recycling stream, please only deposit the following items:

|---|---|
| Plastics & Glass | Drink bottles, jars, and plastic containers. Please rinse. |
| Metals | Aluminum cans, plates, foil, and tin cans (please rinse). |
| Paper Products | Newsprint, flyers, catalogues, magazines, and phone books. |
| Cardboard | Boxboard and corrugated cardboard – must be folded down. |
| Dairy Containers | Milk cartons and jugs. Please rinse. |
| Batteries | Household batteries can now be left in the recycling sheds by placing them in the marked plastic battery pails. |
Waste Management Facility (Highway #11)
Certain items cannot be processed at local recycling sheds and must be taken to the Waste Management Facility, located on Highway #11 (1/2 mile south of PTH #44).
Items requiring facility disposal include:
- Household Garbage & Scrap Metal
- Appliances & Furniture
- Building Materials (Doors, windows, flooring)
- Used Oil

To help keep our community clean and our recycling program running smoothly, please follow these shed policies and etiquette rules:
Appliance Recycling Program
Do you have an old, working second fridge or freezer? Through Manitoba Hydro’s Refrigerator Retirement Program, you can dispose of it responsibly while earning a rebate.
Report Illegal Dumping: Help us keep Reynolds clean. If you witness illegal dumping, contact Justin Paille, Environmental Officer, at 204-392-4020.
