The Rural Municipality of Reynolds is now accepting applications for the 2026 Dust Abatement Program. Residents wishing to have dust suppressant chemical applied to the municipal roadway adjacent to their property must submit their application and payment by the spring deadline.
Program Details & Costs
The program provides a single application of approximately 900 litres of suppressant over roughly 125 metres of roadway.
- Standard Rate: $387.00 per lot for a single application.
- Discounted Rate: $290.25 per lot (25% discount as per Municipal Policy 15).
To qualify for the discount, the lot must be occupied by a permanent resident and the residence must be within 300 feet of the road center.
Application Requirements
- Marking Your Site: Applicants are responsible for setting up start and stop flags to guide the truck operator.
- Maintenance Disclaimer: The Municipality reserves the right to perform necessary road maintenance on treated areas and is not liable for the restoration of the chemical or its effectiveness.
- Deadline: All forms and payments must be received by May 25, 2026.

Payment Methods:
- Cash or Cheque: Payable to the RM of Reynolds.
- Debit: Available at the office (subject to a $3.00 fee).
- E-Transfer (ETF): Send to admin@rmofreynolds.com. Please include “2026 Dust Control” in the subject line.
