WRNW Waste Management Facility has purchased a used scale as part of ongoing efforts to improve operations and meet sustainable industry standards. The $65,000 investment was made without increasing contributions from municipal partners, including the RM of Reynolds, RM of Whitemouth, and North Whiteshell Provincial Park, for the 2025 and 2026 budgets.
Installation will be phased over time as funding allows, with delivery expected in the coming weeks. Once operational, the scale will improve fee accuracy and support more precise reporting required by regulatory bodies. The facility aims to complete the project with minimal disruption and will continue to provide updates as progress is made.
