Rennie

Rennie located along PTH #44 and in the northeast corner of the municipality has a population of 120. Rennie is located adjacent to the Whiteshell Provincial Park. In the hamlet of Rennie, you will find a general store (Rennie General Store), a gas bar, convenience store and service station (Rennie River Leisure), a hotel (Rennie Hotel), a post office and a campground (Stony Pine). A community club known as the Rennie Community Club hosts several activities throughout the year.
 
The Canadian Pacific railway passes through the hamlet of Rennie. Children are bussed to Whitemouth School for their education needs. For any medical needs, residents travel to Whitemouth, Pinawa, Beausejour or Winnipeg. Rennie is also home to the Alfred Hole Goose Sanctuary and the Trappers Museum which host many visitors from afar.
 
Not only will you find hundreds of geese at the Sanctuary, but you will find a museum and a hiking trail. Fire protection is provided by the Whitemouth Fire Department.
