GENERAL INFORMATION
PAYMENT OF TAXES MUST BE RECEIVED BY OUR OFFICE ON OR BEFORE OCTOBER 30TH, 2020 OR THEY WILL BE SUBJECT TO PENALTIES. Penalties on current taxes are added at the rate of 1.25% on the first day of each month beginning November 1st, 2020. Penalties on arrears as listed on current tax statements are calculated to May 31st, 2020 only. Add 1% per month on arrears to date of payment or call the office to confirm the arrears plus penalties.
The property owners name and address as it appears on the enclosed statement is the most recent information made available to the Municipality. If an ownership change has since occurred, please forward the enclosed tax statement to the new owner or return it immediately to the Municipality. Please advise the Municipal Office promptly of any change in your address. Failure to receive a tax bill does not excuse an owner from the responsibility for payment of taxes nor does it relieve that owner from liability to penalties for late payment.

Under provincial legislation, the RM of Reynolds is given the responsibility to collect taxes for the local school boards.
The RM of Reynolds does not set this rate and is only given a total that must be collected. If you agree that it is time to remove education tax off property, we encourage you to make your views known to your local MLA and the Minister of Education, The Honourable Nancy Allan at 168 Legislative Bldg., 450 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0V8.
The 2020 property assessment is based on April 1st, 2018 market value. All properties were re-assessed for 2020.
