January 2026

Welcome to 2026!

Happy New Year to all residents and neighbors in the RM of Reynolds!

As we flip the calendar to January, there is always a unique sense of a fresh start. Whether you’re spending the month enjoying the quiet of the winter woods, hitting the local trails, or simply staying warm at home, we hope your start to the year is a great one.

January is a time for looking ahead, and we are excited to continue sharing news, project updates, and community events with you throughout the coming year.

Welcome to the Team, Carolyne!

The RM is pleased to introduce our newest staff member, Carolyne, who has joined the municipal team to support our administrative and financial services as ACAO.

Carolyne and her spouse moved to the RM in the spring of 2025. Having previously lived and worked in Winnipeg, they were drawn to our corner of the province by the beautiful forested landscapes and the feeling of being nestled in nature.

Carolyne brings a background in administrative and financial services to the office. She is eager to put her experience to work for the RM and is committed to the values of teamwork, accountability, and service.

As a relatively new resident herself, Carolyne is excited to learn more about the municipality and build connections with the people who live here. She looks forward to meeting residents and contributing positively to our community.

Exciting News: Major Grant for Reynolds Fire Hall

We are thrilled to share some fantastic news to kick off the new year! The Reynolds Fire Hall has been awarded a significant grant of $315,768 to support the Fire Hall expansion and the purchase of upgraded tools.

This funding was secured through the 2025-2026 Manitoba Growth, Renewal and Opportunities (Manitoba GRO) Program.

This is a major win for the Fire Department and the RM of Reynolds, as it allows us to complete these essential upgrades while leveraging provincial support to minimize the direct impact on our local budget. We look forward to seeing this project take shape and further strengthen our fire and emergency services!
