Welcome to the RM of Reynolds Newsletter

The RM of Reynolds is excited to introduce a fresh new newsletter format designed to strengthen communication with our communities. Beginning this month, we’ll be sharing updates and news in a monthly digital newsletter, with a printed version available upon request. Our goal is to keep you informed, connected, and engaged with what’s happening across the municipality.

Harvest Safety

September marks the beginning of harvest season across Manitoba. With farmers busy in the fields, you’ll see more large equipment traveling on rural roads and highways. Please remember to slow down, allow extra space, and be patient when sharing the road with farm machinery.

School Bus Safety

With students heading back to school, school buses are once again on their daily routes. Please remember:

  • Always stop when red lights are flashing
  • Never pass a stopped school bus
  • Be extra cautious in school zones and near bus stops

A few moments of patience can make all the difference. Let’s work together to keep our students safe this school year.

Municipal Announcements

Bridge Resurfacing Update

Throughout July and August, resurfacing work was completed on three local bridges:

  • Railway Road Bridge
  • Nazar Road Bridge
  • 50N Road Bridge

We sincerely thank residents and travelers for your patience during the road closures and detours.

A special acknowledgment goes to our Public Works Manager & Contractors for their dedication and oversight of these important projects, your hard work is greatly appreciated!

Zoning By-Law 04-2025

Council gave first reading on August 12th. A Public Hearing will be scheduled soon. This is your opportunity to review the proposed changes, ask questions, and share your feedback.

Stay tuned to our website, local notice boards and the Newspaper for official dates and details.

Economic Development Update

What a busy and exciting summer it has been here in Reynolds! Since starting in May, I’ve been learning about our communities, visiting the hamlets, and seeing firsthand just how unique each one is.

This summer, we completed a new Economic Development Strategic Plan with input from Council and last year’s Community Survey. The plan is now with Council for review, and I look forward to sharing projects with you soon. We’ve also started exploring housing opportunities in Molson, and prepared a regional profile, developer package, and an RFP that was issued at the end of August.

This is just the beginning, and I’m excited to keep working with you as we build on the strengths that make Reynolds such a special place.
